Since my last review I have gone elsewhere and received a better service. I’d like to point out that though Specsavers left a link and said they would be in touch but they never did get in touch. I had to go into the store where there was a new manager. She was very polite but I got no answers and she just seemed to say she was sorry I wasn’t happy with their service but that was it. I reiterate the staff there have always been lovely but I wasn’t happy with the prescription and that was never addressed. My new opticians have addressed my concerns, given me a new prescription and I’m happy with their assessment.

I've been a Specsavers customer for over 15 years, and have lensmail with them. About 3/4 weeks ago I called up the store and explained my lenses had been destroyed and they offered to send me a spare pair. I have called up 4 times and each time been told the lenses have been ordered and/or someone will get back to you. I was left a voice mail a few days ago and staff there suggested I pay for some daily lenses until my order is delivered next month. I then called up and a representative from the centre had to get in touch with the store and explain yet again the situation and was told they will order them and shouldn't be more than a 'couple of days'. I now don't have any lenses, even though I informed the store and staff working there a month ago. The worst thing is that I feel I haven't been listened to and staff working there just haven't bothered to place an order or really care at all about whether they will or not. I don't like having to leave a bad review but this has been pretty awful service and I'm looking elsewhere as I don't have the energy to go through this all again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I've finally taken the plunge with varifocals and they're working well. I was helped in making my decision, but definitley not persuaded to go for this option.

I’ve been going to Specsavers for years and probably spent thousands of pounds in that time. This last time after a test I was told I didn’t need new glasses as my prescription hadn’t changed enough. Great. However over the next few months I felt that the distance aspect of my verifícala was a bit blurred. I went back to Specsavers at the end of April and was told that the distance part of my prescription had changed (although I wasn’t told this after my test). I ordered two new pairs of distance glasses - one pair sunglasses and and one pair light reactive for my holidays. The glasses returned but lenses were swapped over in the frames. It was too late for my holidays but they were sent back when I got back. I was still not happy with the distance and could see more clearly without the glasses. I’ve since had another test which has altered my prescription (apparently because there is the beginning of a cataract). It is nearly a year since my last test but I’ve been struggling nearly all this year. I’m not happy with the test back in September but can’t now prove that it was in error.

Got my first pair of glasses today and the staff couldn’t of been more helpful and friendly. From the optician who did my test to the man who helped me pick out my glasses. I was embarrassed about getting a pair of glasses becuase I’m 20. But they were extremely kind.

Visited specsavers in Stretford Mall today. Very pleased with the customer service. My broken glasses were repaired very quickly. The lady who served me was super efficient.

Staff are friendly, very knowledgeable and greet you with a nice smile. They always take the time to ensure everything is correct especially as it involves your eyesight. Store is always clean and tidy. Excellent 10/10.
